no pics but...

In my bean/legume quest I did also venture to make my own hummus.  And using that as a guide I made black bean dip a week later.  Both came out good.  I will try them again.
The next attempt will be a multi-bean soup with ham from Easter.  It is in the freezer calling my name.  I hesitate because if it comes out tasting too much like split pea soup I will be upset.
I will keep you posted.

let me know how it comes out because that's the kind of soup i was trying to make when it was so filling you could barely eat it. :).

i haven't made my own hummus in forever. was it work the effort? i don't always love bought hummus but i recently tried trader joe's and it was quite tasty. not middle eastern restaurant tasty, but close!

it was good... i thought it was a bit dry and not as chock full of flavor... but everyone kept digging in and saying how much they enjoyed it...
i used the rest of the chick peas in salad i think
